  • Jodie Stimpson

Started swimming for her local club Oldbury Swimming Club when she was just 4 years old. Training initially was on Tuesday evenings where Stimpson remembers cycling around Langley Leisure Centre several times, then straight into the pool, before finally running home! Jodie entered into the Milk Series, which was held at Appleby, where she won her first triathlon aged 9. At this age Stimpson wasn’t too worried about whether her glasses were taped to her helmet or her equipment was in the correct place, all Jodie wanted was to win. That was where and how this whole journey started …… under the guidance of her family, Jodie Stimpson’s Triathlon seed had been planted ….. the competitive edge continues to this day with the below outstanding results.
